1:1 Matchmaking With Mentor In A Dream Job
Wouldn't it be great if someone who is already in your dream job could guide you on your journey? Share insights into the reality of the job, hard-learnt lessons and advice on how to best navigate the many crossroads on your path to that dream? And help you confirm whether this job is really the right one for you?
That's exactly what a mentor does. We define a mentor as someone who has the dream job you want - and who usually also lives in your dream country and completed your dream degree - who can guide you on your career path. It's a priceless connection that both inspires and helps you make more informed decisions about your path, all while building your network in the industry of your dreams!

Eligibility Requirements
You do not need to have completed one of our bootcamps to be eligible. However you will need to have a relatively clear career plan, ie. your dream job role, industry, employer, degree and country to study and / or work in - which you of course will have if you completed our Future Careers Bootcamp. It is the information we need to be able to find your mentor.

Pre-Matchmaking:
If you participated in our Future Careers Bootcamp, you're all set! We have all the info we need to match you.
If you haven't participated in our Future Careers Bootcamp, you will be asked to share the key information via a form, take a short personality test and have a 30min virtual meeting with us to get to know you better.

Matchmaking
As we aim to find and connect you to a mentor aligned to very specific criteria, the mentor identifcation process can take anywhere from 2-3 months. Once we have found one or multiple suitable candidates, you receive their profile. If you like it, we do the introduction.

Mentoring
Mentors commit to at least two 30min mentoring sessions (usually they'll spend an hour per session with you, but we keep the threshold low as these are usually very successful and hence busy people!) over 12 months.
If they like mentoring you, they are encouraged to continue doing so. However it is up to you to then nurture the relationship and propose more meetings. A mentor-mentee relationship can easily become lifelong if well-managed from your side. We hence give you guidance on best practices.

Check-in
After the first mentoring session, we check-in with both parties via a survey to ensure that the mentor-mentee-relationship is on track.
